MAISON MARGIELA FRAGRANCES: Whistler Retreat

PROJECT & PURPOSE:
Maison Margiela fragrances wanted to create an influencer experience that focused on promoting it’s iconic top selling fragrances: Lazy Sunday Morning, Jazz Club and By The Fireplace. In order to tie the experience into the brand’s messaging of “creating memories through scent’, we conceptualized and executed key photo opportunities that promoted the fragrances in a way that guests could “experience” them. The photo opportunities were embedded within a luxury stay at a retreat in Whistler alongside a custom bar and chef experience.
RESULTS:
This experience was reserved for only 6 top tier influencers in Canada. The event combined with the influencers’ social content turned around 900K in impressions and drove traffic to key online retailers via link promotion. The experience also created a resurgence of social media interest in these iconic fragrances.
